SEOUL, June 10 (Yonhap) – S. Korean singer and composer Yoon Sang has signed an exclusive contract with Pop Music and will launch a new music label.

Pop Music announced on Friday, “Yoon Sang, who paved the way for popular music, has decided to join Pop Music,” adding, “We will support the performances of the artist to the fullest.”

The agency added, “Yoon will launch a new music label that is set to discover and foster potential rookie musicians who have their own unique colors and talents,” adding, “The singer will become a CEO of the new label.”

Besides, Yoon will participate in various music works of WYSIWYG Studios Co, a parent company of Pop Music, and its labels.

Yoon Sang has showed active performances by releasing six full albums and two mini albums for the past 30 years since his debut in 1991. Moreover, he has presented his talents as a producer by composing songs of diverse singers, including Kang Susie in the 1990s and K-pop girl group Lovelyz in the 2010s.
