SEOUL, May 2 (Yonhap) -- Dahn World has come forward to refute allegations of any association with Hybe amidst the intense confrontation between Hybe and the executives of its sublabel, ADOR.
In a press release on the 2nd, Dahn World stated, "Recently, there have been allegations circulating on YouTube and various online communities suggesting that Hybe is involved with the pseudo-religious organization Dahn World, portraying Dahn World as a cult-like pseudo-religious group, causing significant material and psychological damage."
Dahn World clarified its organizational identity, stating, "We are a health education company, not a religious organization," and emphasized, "The malicious rumors spreading about Hybe being associated with Dahn World are completely unfounded."
Furthermore, Dahn World declared, "We will take strong legal action against the malicious rumors and dissemination of false information online, which seriously damage the reputation of the company."
A Dahn World official warned, "We are currently monitoring malicious posts in real-time and collecting evidence," adding, "We plan to take strong legal measures against indiscriminate producers and disseminators of fake news."
