SEOUL, Mar. 3 (Yonhap) -- The National Museum of Korea will hold a special event “Conversation with Curator” every Wednesday night to offer an opportunity for visitors to have a tour of the exhibition while listening to the explanations of curators.

For the event scheduled at 6 p.m. on Mar. 8, participants will be able to listen to explanations about Goguryeo’s ancient tomb murals at the Prehistory and Ancient History Gallery. Anyone who visits the Baekjae room of the same gallery will be able to take a glimpse into the history of the kingdom of Baekjae and its history of foreign exchange.

The Museum will organize a time to ponder over the cultural heritage and historical implications of Goryeo’s Buddhist culture on Mar. 15.

In the meantime, the “New Culture of the Enlightenment” program will offer explanations of the records that were left on glass plates during Japanese colonialism at 7 p.m. on Mar. 22 in the Medieval and Early Modern History Gallery’s Korean Empire room.

Anyone can freely participate in this “Conversation with Curator” even without making reservations.
