SEOUL, July 28 (Yonhap) -- ENA Wednesday- Thursday drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” (“Attorney Woo”) recorded audience ratings of over 15%, replacing its own highest ratings.
Episode 9 of “Attorney Woo” marked ratings of 15.8% in viewership, according to ratings research company Nielson Korea on Thursday.
“Attorney Woo” has been breaking new records every episode since its first episode with 0.9% viewership ratings. It marked double-digit ratings, which is difficult to record even for the main broadcasting stations. It recorded over 5% in just fourth episode, 11.7% in seventh episode, and 13.1% in eight episode.
In the episode 9, Koo Kyo-hwan played cameo part as “Bang-goo-bbong,” vitalizing the drama scene.
Bang-goo-bbong, who describes himself as Children’s Commander-in-Chief of the Liberation Army and believes “Children should play, be healthy, and be happy,” was arrested after driving his mother’s school bus with children inside to near mountain.
Woo Young Woo, who took charge of his defense, defended him by supporting his idea of “Free the children,” rather than commuting the sentence by asserting his disorder of delusions of grandeur.
Bang-goo-bbong appealed to the jury saying, “Children should play from now. Later is late. It’s too late to find a way to happiness once they are living a life full of worries,” and criticized the society and adults for sending kids to academies.
