SEOUL, May 4 (Yonhap) -- Singer Park Jae-beom or Jay Park's Won Soju, which was so popular that it was extremely hard to find, will now be available in convenience stores from July.
Convenience store, GS25 announced on the 4th that it will introduce "Won Soju Spirit," a new product from Won Spirits, from July in all their convenience stores in South Korea.
With Won Soju being distilled by fermenting Wonju rice-totomi in Wonju, Gangwon province, it is the second product after Won Soju's first product has been all sold out.
GS25 and Won Spirit explained that the alcohol content and aging process were optimized to the perfect range so that more people could enjoy it while still maintaining its identity.
It has supplemented the fact that Won Soju were not able to mass produce during the distillation process of making the soju.
Along with that, GS25 plans to expand strategic partnerships by holding customer events that link Won Spirits and cultural contents.
