SEOUL, March 27 (Yonhap) -- JYP Entertainment announced on Thursday that it has donated 500 million won to the social welfare organization World Vision to aid residents and children affected by the massive wildfires in the Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk regions.
The donation will be used to provide emergency relief supplies, including blankets and essential goods kits, as well as emergency living expenses and financial support for household appliances and furniture for approximately 10,000 wildfire victims in Uiseong and Sancheong counties.
The funds will be allocated to support the psychological and emotional well-being of affected residents and children.
JYP stated, "We extend our deepest sympathies to those who have lost their homes due to the sudden wildfires. We hope that the affected residents and children will find hope and return to their daily lives as soon as possible."
