SEOUL, Oct. 30 (Yonhap) -- K-pop boy group AB6IX will start its official activities in Japan.
"AB6IX will debut in the Japanese music market in partnership with Victor Entertainment in Japan," the group's agency Brand New Music said Friday.
AB6IX, which consists of members Jeon Woong, Kim Dong-hyun, Park Woo-jin, and Lee Dae-hwi, are well known to actively participate in writing, composing and producing each album.
The four-piece act gained recognition after appearing in major festivals, such as the "Aichi Impact! 2021" and "Tokyo Girls Collection" in Japan earlier this year. Jeon Woong also featured in Japanese solo artist Noa's digital single "Let Go."
"AB6IX already has a significant fan base in Japan and local media outlets have also shown interest in the group," Brand New Music said.
"We are really happy to have achieved this long-awaited dream of ours and we will try to show a better performance for our Japanese fans who have waited to see us," AB6IX said through its agency.
