NewJeans Pre-releases MV for Japanese Debut Single 'Right Now'

SEOUL, June 17 (Yonhap) -- K-pop girl group NewJeans unveiled the music video for their Japanese debut single 'Right Now,' announced by their agency ADOR.

 

Pre-released on June 17 at 0 a.m., the Korean pop song features stylish drum and bass rhythm and lively vocals.

 

The music video combines actual footage of the members with animation elements to provide entertainment.

It depicts episodes unfolding as Hani sends a message to her crush and anxiously awaits a reply. The expressions and actions of the other members, nervously watching alongside Hani, are portrayed hilariously and endearingly.

 

The video also features characters representing the individuality of the five members, such as 'Powerpuff Girls X NewJeans' and 'Murakami Takashi X NewJeans', capturing viewers' attention.

 

NewJeans will release their Japanese debut single 'Supernatural,' including this song, on the 21st. Following that, they will perform their new songs on various local TV music programs such as 'Music Station,' 'With Music,' 'FNS Kayousai,' and 'Ongaku no Hi 2024.'

 

On the 26th and 27th, NewJeans will hold a large-scale fan meeting, 'Bunnies Camp 2024 Tokyo Dome,' at Tokyo Dome, where they will meet their fans, known as 'Bunnies,' an official NewJeans fanclub.
