SEOUL, June 17 (Yonhap) -- Emperor of Ballads Shin Seung-hun will meet his fans on stage after 3 years.
Shin will host a solo concert “2022 The Shin Seung-hun Show” for two days from August 27th to 28th at the Sejong Center, Jongno District, Seoul, according to the agency Dorothy Company, Friday.
This will be the first time for the singer to take the stage since 2019.
Shin planned a concert to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his debut in 2020 but was canceled due to COVID-19 social distancing measures.
An official from the agency said, “The concert was fully prepared for the last two years and will be a well-made performance about Shin’s world.”
The singer also plans to hold a concert in Busan on Sep. 3~4 after the Seoul performance.
Shin, who debuted in 1990 with “Reflection of you in your smile” recorded "million-sellers" from his first to seventh albums in a row.
The singer topped the Korean music program for 14 consecutive weeks with his hit song “Invisible Love,” setting various records including the largest number of awards in the history of the Korean Golden Disc Awards and the largest cumulative sales in the history of K-pop records.
