SEOUL December 22 (Yonhap) -- South Korean drama series airing every Wednesday and Thursday from JTBC “The Interest of Love” featuring actor Yoo Yeon-seok, and actress Moon Ga-young kicked off its series with 3 percent viewing rate.
According to the data provided by the Nielsen Television Audience Measurement, the first episode of “The Interest of Love” which premiered on December 21 at 10:30 p.m. attracted 3.1 viewing rate.
Throughout the first episode of “The Interest of Love” introduced intertwined love relationship of Ha Sang-soo, acted by Yoo Yeon-seok and Ahn Soo-young, acted by Moon Ga-young who both works at KCU bank
Protagonist Ha Sang-soo makes a big mistake of sending a wrong card to his client who left to Jeju island for vacation trying to help out Ahn Soo-young who was being suffering from insults from her client.
Ha Sang-soo and Ahn Soo-young who visits Jeju Island in order to correct their mistake, successfully provides the client with the right card, and spend time together which leads both of the protagonists to become much closer to one another.
After returning back from Jeju island, Ha Sang-soo asked Ahn Soo-young out on a date and she gladly says yes in return foreshadowing a romantic love line by both characters throughout the series.
However on the day of their second date, Ha Sang-soo’s was forced into working overtime and to worsen the situation his phone was broken therefore he could not make it to his date with Ahn Soo-young. Due to co-aligning incidents, Ahn Soo-young returns home with broken heart.
Later on, Ahn Soo-young says she is going out with the security guard of the bank to Ha Sang-soo successfully raised interest among audiences.
“The Interest of Love” depicts innocent emotional interest between two characters, frustration caused by bad timing, and more which is familiar to everyone who has been or currently in a relationship with somebody. Moreover the episode introduced number of new faces which will get in the way of both protagonists’ relationship raising more interest among its viewers.
