SEOUL, Aug. 31 (Yonhap) -- Stray Kids, K-pop's representative fourth generation boy group, earned a million-seller status after its second studio album has shipped 1.1 million units.
Stray Kids' second full-length album "NOEASY," released on Aug. 23, surpassed shipping 1.1 million units of albums based on the Gaon chart data as of Tuesday, according the act's agency JYP Entertainment.
"NOEASY" became the first million-seller album produced by JYP Entertainment.
According to album sales tracker Hanteo chart, the album sold 641,589 copies in just one week after its release.
The eight-piece-act's second album currently has sold 410,000 more copies than the first week of sales of its first full-length repackage album "IN Life." This is the best record achieved by Stray Kids since its debut in 2018.
The music video for the title track "Thunderous" shows a combination of tradition and modernity, and has surpassed 50 million YouTube views on Aug 30, six days after its release.
