CL, partners with England's global agency 'Satellite414' for more world-wide activities

SEOUL, Aug. 30 (Yonhap) -- South Korean singer CL has recently signed a contract with England-based global entertainment agency “Satellite414” for a more world-wide activity, according to her agency Label Very Cherry Monday.

The new agency is partners with global musicians such as Adele, Beyonce and Dua Lipa.

CL, who has released her first single “SPICY” of her regular solo album “ALPHA” on the 24th, is to put more effort into global activities through the contract.

“She is the first Korean musician to have decorated the front cover of Berlin’s fashion and art magazine 032c. We are planning to expand her stage not only to Korea and America but to Europe as well,” said Very Cherry.

Born in Korea, CL who started her career as former leader of Korea’s legendary girl group 2NE1, has grown up in various environments and has overcome many prejudices over her throughout her life.

“SPICY” is a song that shows her strong ego. In the song she compared her firm and independent character to a hot and spicy sauce.
