SEOUL November 29 (Yonhap) -- Busan Film Critics Association awarded director Hong Sang-soo’s “In Front of Your Face” with the grand prize of Busan Film Critics Association Awards, addressed association on Tuesday.
Special award by the panel has been awarded to “I am More” by director Lee Il-ha.
For the “Best Actress Award” actress Lee Hae-yeong from the movie “In Front of Your Face” and for the “Best Actor Award” actor Park Hae-il from “Decision to Leave” were selected.
Under the segment of Best New Director, director Lee Ran-hee of “A Leave,” and director Kim Ji-seok from “And There Was Light” were selected.
Best New Actor Award was given to actor Kim Dong-hwee from “In Our Prime” and Best New Actress award was given to actress Ha Yoon-Kyung from “Gyeong-ah’s Daughter.”
Award ceremony will kick off at 7 p.m. on December 9 at Busan Cinema Center.
Award winning movies will be screened the day after the day of the award ceremony.
Starting with the screening of “And There Was Light” on December 10 at 11 a.m. “I am More” will be screened at 2:10 p.m. and “A Leave” will be screened at 4:55 p.m.
After the movies, actors and directors of the individual movies will engage in a little talk session regarding the movie with the audience.
Admission for the movie and the award ceremony are free of its charge, tickets for both events will be available starting on December 1, and it is also available on site.
