SEOUL, Oct. 31 (Yonhap) -- Thriller movie "Confession" starring So Ji-sub and Kim Yunjin has topped the box office for the first weekend of its release.
According to the data by the Korea Film Council, the movie has gathered 172,000 audiences (sale share of 26.9%) for three days (Oct. 28-30), leading the box office.
Actor Lee Sung-min's "Remember" placed second, garnering 141,000 moviegoers (21.9%).
The two movies, released on the same day, Oct. 26, are competing for the top place. While "Remember" took the first place on the first day of its release, "Confession" has been leading for the last four consecutive days.
Dwayne Johnson's "Black Adam," which was leading the last weekend box office, was watched by 118,000 (18.8%) audiences, falling to third place. Its cumulative audience number is 649,000 as of Sunday.
Meanwhile, movies "Crayon Shin-chan: Shrouded in Mystery!," "Life is Beautiful,""Everything Everywhere All At Once," and "Confidential Assignment 2" followed.
