SEOUL, Apr. 10 (Yonhap) -- South Korean mystery horror film “The Other Child” has received a welcoming invitation from the 25th Udine Far East Film Festival, which is scheduled to be held in the northeastern Italian city of Udine from April 21 to 29, distributor NK Contents confirmed Monday.

This chilling occult horror film follows the story of a couple who comes to go through a tragic accident after adopting a visually impaired child who is able to see the invisible. Veteran actress Park Hyo-joo starred in this gripping thriller along with Kim Min-jae and Cha Sun-woo.

The Udine Far East Film Festival touts itself as a representative film festival introducing Asian films in Europe. Up until last year, an array of Korean films with both outstanding cinematography and popular appeal, including “Miracle,” “King Maker,” “Exit,” and “Extreme Job,” have been showcased and attracted worldwide attention.
