SEOUL, Mar. 28 (Yonhap)-- Chuncheon Mime Festival, one of the representative festivals of Chuncheon, Gangwon-do, will be held from May 22nd to the 29th.
On the 27th, Chuncheon Mime Festival announced that it had recently hold a regular general meeting and confirmed the festival, which marks the 34th anniversary this year.
This year, the Mime Festival will announce its opening in Myeong-dong with the Rock & Rock program on May 22nd.
Additionally, the representative program, Dokkaebi Nanjang, which performs various genres of performance will resume from the 28th to the 29th.
Due to COVID-19, in 2020, the festival was held in 100 different places in the city and last year, it was performed seasonally. This year, however, the festival period is set.
The theme of the festival is 'Ecstatic Hospitality', which means 'the city warmly welcomes you'.
It plans to reduce the oil generators and generator cars to zero and proposes an alternative plan to the carbon reduction campaign.
During the festival, performances are also held at tourist attractions including Nami Island, Animation Museum, Samaksan Mountain Lake Cable Car , downtown streets and university campuses.
