SEOUL, Apr. 18 (Yonhap) – S. Korean singer and actor Kim Woo-jin, a former member of K-pop boy group Stray Kids, has been cast as a main lead of the global OTT(Over-the-top media service) platform HBO Max’s original drama for the first time as Korean, according to the agency 10x Entertainment on Apr. 18.

“Além do Guarda-Roupa,” where Kim plays the main role, depicts romance of an ordinary 10-year-old girl discovering a magical portal in her wardrobe that leads her to the popular idol member living in Seoul.

Kim plays Kyung-min, a cold-hearted member of the boy group ACT, and works with a Korean-Brazilian actress Sharon Blanche.

“Além do Guarda-Roupa” will be revealed through HBO Max next year.

Kim left the group Stray Kids in October, 2019, and has performed as a solo artist by releasing the single “Still Dream” in July, 2021.
