SEOUL, Oct. 30 (Yonhap) -- The Pinkfong Company announced Thursday that it will launch a new intellectual property (IP) series “Kiki Puppup” in partnership with Japanese broadcaster TBS.

The series follows the adventures of three characters — Kiki, a proud cat; Puppup, an optimistic dog; and Vex, a mischievous troublemaker — who help children understand and express emotions through laughter and music. Each episode, about three minutes long, blends slapstick comedy with songs, aiming to combine education and entertainment.

Produced in Korean, Japanese, and English, “Kiki Puppup” targets global streaming platforms.

“The project marks the next major IP following Pinkfong, Baby Shark, Bebefinn, Sealook, and Moon Shark,” the company said. “It’s a noteworthy collaboration between two leading content creators from Korea and Japan.”

After establishing a local subsidiary in Japan and signing a strategic partnership with TBS in April, the company will release “Kiki Puppup” worldwide on YouTube on Oct. 31, followed by a TV broadcast on TBS next year.

The Pinkfong Company plans to expand the “Kiki Puppup” brand into related businesses, including toys, books, music, and live performances.
