BTS concerts to be available on Disney Plus as HYBE and Walt Disney hold hands

SEOUL, July 12 (Yonhap) -- Group BTS’s entertainment HYBE will collaborate with U.S media giant Walt Disney Company Asia Pacific(APAC) to present various contents.

"HYBE's high-quality contents, which have been produced for fans who love our music and artists, will be available to many global viewers through Disney streaming services" said HYBE CEO Park Ji-won.

Through this collaboration, HYBE is providing total of five contents, including two contents starring BTS, to global Disney streaming service.

The works include a reality show featuring Los Angeles Concert "BTS: PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - LA," traveling reality program featuring BTS V and actors Park Seo-joon, Choi Woo-sik, and Park Hyung-sik “In the Soop: Buddymoon,” and BTS's chronological documentary "BTS MONUMENTS: BEYOND THE STAR."

“We hope that artists’ IP(Intellectual Property) and HYBE's works, which impress fans with outstanding contents, will outgrow worldwide with global Disney streaming services, including Disney+,” adding “We hope to show more music contents on Disney streaming services in the future” said Jessica Kam-Engle, Asia-Pacific head of content and development at the Walt Disney Company.
