SEOUL, July 13 (Yonhap) -- K-pop superstar BTS’s chart dominating track “Dynamite” surpassed over 600 million streams in total in Japan, announced the agency BigHit Music on Wednesday.

“Dynamite" which dropped on August of 2020, was ranked 16th in the Oricon chart by surpassing over 3.78 million in total number of streams.

“Dynamite” totaled up 61.26 million cumulative numbers of play.

Including “Dynamite” there are only two occasions where cumulative numbers of plays surpassed the 60 million mark, and as a boy group BTS is first to surpass the mark in the history of “Oricon Streaming Chart”.

After the release of “Dynamite” it stormed the music scene in Japan, the song stayed on top of the “Oricon Streaming chart” for 10 weeks in total, and for 8 consecutive weeks, the song stayed on the “weekly streaming chart” with a record of more than 10 million streams per week.
