SEOUL, Dec. 8 (Yonhap) -- Starting with Na Hoon-ah Busan Concert, BEXCO in Haeundae-gu Busan city, an exhibition convention hall and irregularly used as a performance hall as well, will hold large end-of-year performances.

As the city’s daily confirmed cases of COVID-19 have reached its peak, 240 people, and Omicron variants are spreading in Korea, authorities are especially careful about the upcoming large-scale concert.

“Na Hoon Ah AGAIN Tes Bro” Busan concert which was postponed from summer due to the spreading COVID-19 infection will take place for 3 days starting from the 10th, according to BEXCO Tuesday.

Concerts with more than 500 people held at BEXCO not at regular performance facilities are allowed when they receive permissions from government departments (the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) and the local government (Haeundae-gu) in advance.

Na Hoon-a’s Busan concert ahs already got permission in advance.

Current quarantine guidelines allow up to 5,000 people.

The concert holder and BEXCO expects that about 4,000 people will visit the hall per performance.

As there will be 2 performances a day for 3 days, around 24,000 people will visit the Busan concert.

The tickets were sold out in 15 minutes.

Activities that can cause droplet infection such as shouting, chanting and singing along and eating are banned.

The performance holder initially decided to put 1 space between 2 seats but changed to make 1 space between every seat.

So they expanded the performance space from 8천836㎡ to 13,000천㎡ and install seats.

BEXCO and the concert holders have had a meeting to focus more on safety by strengthening distancing in the hall and putting 145 safety guards to guide the audiences to well follow the quarantine guidelines.

“As the concert will be held in Seoul and Daegu as well after Busan, the audiences will mostly be local people. We will thoroughly check for any safety problems preparing for the final rehearsal with related organzations’ officials like Haeundae Health Center on the 9th,” said an official from BEXCO.

BEXCO will also hold Lee Seung-cheol concert (Dec. 18) and Show Me The Money (Dec. 25).
