SEOUL, 15 (Yonhap) -- NCT 127 will release their new album 'WALK' at 6 PM on the 15th, according to their agency, SM Entertainment. The sixth studio album, 'WALK', embodies NCT 127's ambition to "open a new chapter in K-pop with their own steps." The album features a total of 11 tracks, including the title track 'Walk'.
The title track, a hip-hop song, blends boom bap style drums, retro guitar riffs, and synthesizer sounds, evoking the early 2000s. It metaphorically compares walking in NCT 127's unique style to "creaking steps," expressing confidence in not following anyone else's path.
The music video for 'Walk', released simultaneously on SM Town's YouTube channel, features the members freely roaming the streets as they please. NCT 127 will also host a comeback special broadcast titled 'WALK Daily Magazine LAUNCH PARTY' on YouTube and Weverse on the same day.
Additionally, starting on the 16th, original content titled 'Spotlight Clips' will be available on the music platform Melon. This series showcases the members discussing the album in a relaxed setting and enjoying mini-games. 'Spotlight Clips' is a three-part series, with the second and third episodes being released on the 18th and 22nd respectively.
