SEOUL, Nov. 2 (Yonhap) -- Film industry is canceling and delaying events one after another due to the Itaewon tragedy that occurred last Saturday.

Romance movie "Ditto" starring Yeo Jin-goo and Cho Yi-hyun on Wednesday have canceled photo wall of VIP press conference, which was scheduled to open on Nov. 8.

Movie's production company, GoGo Studio said, "We pray for the souls of those who departed due to an unfortunate accident and send our deepest condolence and comfort to the families of the victims."

Movie "Birth" which depicted priest St.Andrew Kim Tae-gon in his young days and fantasy romance drama "Cafe Midnight" delayed their events.

Press conferences of "Birth" and "Cafe Midnight," which were planned to be held on Thursday and Friday respectively, will both take place on Nov.11

Director of "Birth," Park Heung-sik said, "I pray that the victims of Itaewon crowd surge rest in peace. I decided to delay the press conference to have the time to share the sadness."

Meanwhile, Movies "Remember" and "Confession" canceled their stage greetings on Oct. 30, the day after the tragedy, and "Men of Plastic" starring Ma Dong-seok temporarily postponed the press conference planned on Oct. 31.
