SEOUL, Nov. 19 (Yonhap) -- Japanese girl group Fruits Zipper will hold its first concert in South Korea on Nov. 29 at Donghae Culture and Arts Center at Kwangwoon University in Seoul, its agency Asobisystem said on Wednesday.

The concert is part of the group’s Asia tour, “We are FRUITS ZIPPER.”

Fruits Zipper is a seven-member group consisting of Tsukiyashi Amane, Chinzei Suzuka, Sakurai Yui, Nakagawa Luna, Manaka Mana, Matsumoto Karen and Hayase Noel. The group debuted in April 2022 under the slogan “From Harajuku to the World.”

Their second digital single, “My Cutest Part,” released in the same month as their debut, gained strong popularity among Gen Z users, recording more than 3 billion cumulative plays on TikTok and 66 million views on its music video.

The group held a solo concert at Tokyo’s Budokan last May, and will make its first appearance on NHK’s year-end program “Kohaku Uta Gassen” on Dec. 31. The members will also perform at Tokyo Dome, known as the “dream venue,” in February next year.
