SEOUL, Oct. 21 (Yonhap) -- Lee Jung-shin of band CNBLUE will join tvN’s upcoming series “Shooting Star” as a main character Do Soo-hyuk, according to his agency FNC Entertainment Thursday
“Shooting Star” is “Byulddongbyul” in Korean. Byul means star and ddong means excrement. So the title means “those who deal with the mess stars made.”
The upcoming series is a romantic comedy drawing the story of the employees working in the entertainment industry trying their best behind the stars to make them shine and stand out.
Lee will attempt to change his image through the role Do Soo-hyuk, an entertainment lawyer. Do is an elegant style man and takes care of problems fast and accurately.
Earlier, the producers of the series announced that actress Lee Sung-kyung and Kim Young-dae were cast as well.
