SEOUL, Nov. 14 (Yonhap) —A web drama set in the UNESCO World Heritage-listed towns of Andong, Gyeongbuk, and Yangdong in Gyeongju will be released.

A web drama, "Mysticism," produced in the setting of "Korea's historical town," Hahoe and Yangdong, will be released on the official YouTube channel of the Cultural Heritage Administration, Naver TV, Kakao TV, and more, the Cultural Heritage Administration announced on Monday.

It is the second web drama dealing with World Heritage after the web drama "300 Year Old Class of 2020," which was set in nine different Seowons, Korean Neo-Confucian Academies.

The new web drama "Mysticism" will depict the mysterious and strange stories happening in the two historical towns.

"Goseo, Old Book Story," set in Hahoe Town, Andong, will depict a story about a boy finding an old book regarding the secrets of the town.

"Time Town Stories" will be about "Masil," who time travels between the past, present, and future. It will depict the story of the only girl who has never traveled in time in Yangdong town, where masil is an everyday thing.

Six episodes will be produced in total, three for each story, with each episode lasting approximately 10-15 minutes.

Gongchan from the boy band B1A4 will appear in "Hwaja" episodes, which introduce the two towns.

The Cultural Heritage Administration will begin releasing three episodes of "Goseo, Old Book Story" on November 13 and three episodes of "Time Town Stories" on November 23.

The drama will be provided for free to Korea culture promotion organizations in Korea and internationally, and it will support eight languages, including English, Chinese, Arabic, French, Spanish, Malaysian, and Vietnamese.
