SEOUL, July 6 (Yonhap) -- “Because we won the competition, ‘Queendom 2’, the pressure was real. But because of the pressure we were able to work hard for our upcoming album.” announced WJSN during their press conference held for special mini album “Sequence”

K-pop girl group WJSN appealed their confidence towards special mini album “Sequence” which dropped on Tuesday. This will be WJSN’s first album in a year and 4 months.

WJSN’s special mini album “Sequence” which is their first album after taking first place in “Queendom 2” embraces the message regarding their plan for future activities.

“The special mini album Sequence is a continuum of ‘Queendom 2’.” adding “It is an impressive album encompassing our ambition to shine brighter despite our current success.” announced Exy the leader of WJSN.

WJSN’s Eunseo appealed her thoughts related to their special min album by announcing “Through this album I hope to solidify our stance and show that we are worthy of the winning title of ‘Queendom 2’.”

Total of 4 tracks will be included in their special mini album "Sequence" starting with the title track “Last Sequence” WJSN’s final track from queendom 2 “Aura”, track which Exy participated in composition and writing the lyrics “Done” and a lovely duet song between Dayoung and Yeonjung “stronger”.

The title track “last sequence”is a mixed genre track of pop and dance with impressive but yet rough drum and bass line.

“I am certain that some of our fans might have thought the worst when they first heard the name of our title track ‘Last Sequence’ since we have been around for 9 years now.” Adding “The title embraces us leading our fans and listeners to a fresh start after COVID-19” announced Eunseo.

Within the music video of “Last Sequence” members of WJSN appears as mermaids and puts an emphasis on the surreal atmosphere.

“The music video for ‘Last Sequence’ is about 10 of the lovely mermaids performing under water.” adding “The set was so pretty not to mention that our members were gorgeous as well, I hope you guys all like it.” announced Bona during the press conference.
