SEOUL, May 30 (Yonhap) -- Singer BoA has released a new album “The Greatest” for her 20th debut anniversary in Japan, according to the agency SM Entertainment, Monday.

The album consists of 12 songs including the title track “The Greatest,” and 10 songs presented as self-cover projects.

BoA hosted a concert “BoA 20th Anniversary Special Live -The Greatest” to celebrate her 20th anniversary in Japan at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo, the previous day.

The singer received applause for performing 29 hit songs including “DO THE MOTION,” “LISTEN TO MY HEART,” and “VALENTI.”

M-Flo’s Verbal and Crystal Kay, who have collaborated with BoA, filled the stage as special guests to create a joint stage. TVXQ's U-Know Yunho also carried out a couple performance on the "Only One" stage with BoA.

BoA debuted in Japan with her single "ID; Peace B" in May 2001 and led the K-pop Korean Wave in Japan, producing two million-seller albums based on the Oricon chart.
