SEOUL, Aug. 22 (Yonhap) -- K-pop group FIFTY FIFTY is set to make a comeback on the U.S. Billboard charts through a new global distribution deal with Sony Music Entertainment Korea.
On the 22nd, the group's agency Attrakt announced the partnership, which will see Sony Music handle the worldwide distribution of FIFTY FIFTY's upcoming album, set for release on October 20th. Sony Music will also spearhead a global marketing campaign, with its subsidiary Arista Records focusing on the U.S. market.
Sony Music, one of the "Big Three" global music companies alongside Universal and Warner Music, views this partnership as a significant step in its K-pop strategy.

Attrakt's CEO Jeon Hong-jun expressed optimism, saying, "Partnering with a global powerhouse like Sony Music feels like gaining a thousand allies. We will spare no effort to ensure that FIFTY FIFTY's new album, set for release on October 20th, once again challenges the global charts, including the Billboard 'Hot 100'."
