SEOUL, Mar. 28 (Yonhap) -- South Korean-based multiplex cinema chain CGV is gearing up to hold a brand-new collaborative exhibition with CJ Artificial Intelligence (AI) Center under the title “Our Neighborhood’s Masterpieces” from Wednesday to Apr. 4.
The cinema chain has meticulously selected five masterpieces that received rave reviews worldwide among those that have been released over the past 12 years to be screened once again, including “Your Name.,” “Begin Again,” “About Time,” “Flip,” and “Les Miserables.”
The upcoming exhibition will be held in areas that CGV and CJ AI Center have designated based on moviegoers’ patterns of movie watching as well as regional commercial information. The exhibition will be held at 11 theaters nationwide, including CGV Gwangju Terminal, Daegu Stadium, Daejeon, Sangbong, Ulsan Samsan, Sangbong, and Sinchon Artreon. The five selected films will be re-screened based on the population characteristics of each district.
