SEOUL, Nov. 23 (Yonhap) -- Cartoonist Kim Botong who wrote Netflix hit series "D.P" will release new drama "The King of Desert" with Watcha.
Watcha announced on Wednesday that "The King of Desert," in which writer Kim Botong participated in writing and directing, will be released on Dec. 16.
The drama is a story about the choices of people who believe that money is everything and those who believe is not everything. Yang Dong-geun, Jingoo, Jang Dong-yoon, Kim Jae-hwa, and Lee Hong-nae will appear.
In the drama, various roles appear, including Dong-hyun (Yang Dong-geun) who tries to spend time with his daughter on the verge of his death, Haeil (Lee Hong-nae) who accidentally kidnaps Dong-hyun's daughter while trying to pay his debt, YouTuber Hyun-sook (Kim Jae-hwa) who offers a prize of five billion to make justice, and Cheon-woong (Jang Dong-yoon) who pretends to be a policeman for the prize.
Meanwhile, mysterious character named Sa-jang (Jingoo) who believes that 'Money is Everything' appears and leads the drama by making an offer that can change their lives.
