SEOUL, Feb. 25 (Yonhap) -- The OBS Gyeongin TV, a South Korean free-to-air television station covering Gyeonggi Province, Incheon, and Seoul, will hold an open audition for a brand-new weather forecaster ahead of the grand opening of its radio station (FM 99.9Mhz) on Mar. 30.
The new broadcaster will be in charge of hosting an hour-long daily weather forecast.
The spot is wide open to anyone, even without prior broadcasting experience. OBS will be accepting entries until Mar. 1 on its official website. Among the five finalists who aspire to become the next weather forecaster, the citizen weather forecaster will be selected through live text voting by radio listeners as well as climate and environmental experts.
