SEOUL, Nov. 17 (Yonhap) -- Girl band CLC’s Thai member Sorn has been confirmed to leave the team.
“Our contract with SORN has been expired. With that she will be leaving CLC,” her management agency CUBE Entertainment announced on the 16th.
“We have reached to this decision through mutual agreement. We thank all the fans who have loved Sorn and ask for warm cheers for her new start.”
Sorn debuted in 2015 as a sub vocal of CLC. She was introduced as a talented singer who won the finals in a global audition of 6 Asian countries.
With her departure, CLC has become a 5-piece band.
Earlier, Hong Kong member Elkie left the team in February as her contract expired. Among the remaining members, Choi Yu-jin has won 3rd place in “Girls Planet 999,” Mnet’s recent survival audition, and will be a member of a new group, “Kep1er.”
