BTS's online concert in 1 yr, watched in 197 countries around the world

SEOUL, Oct. 25 (Yonhap) -- “BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE,” super band BTS’s online concert on the 24th is said to have been watched by 197 countries all over the world, according to their agency Big Hit Music Monday.

“BTS organized their performances into 5 different sections according to the songs’ concept and message. The stage sets were all decorated into different atmospheres,” said Big Hit Music.

But the agency did not reveal the size of the total number of watchers.

For the concert, the largest LED screen of BTS concert, 50m long and 20m high, was installed. Also new technology that enables to share the lyrics graphics and the commentary effect with the online watchers’ screens was applied.

The band will hold their first offline concert since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in soFi Stardium, Los Angeles on the 27~28th of November and the 1~2nd of December.

The agency is planning a ticketed live-broadcast offline event at “YouTube Theater” for the fans who failed to get a seat for the recent concert.
