SEOUL, August 9 (Yonhap) – Dramas that began last week are competing with each other to get viewers’ attention.
MBC “Big Mouth,” SBS “Today’s Webtoon,” and tvN “Adamas” ranked in top 10 in the drama category, according to Contents Power Index (CPI) for the fourth week of July, 2022 (July 25 ~ July 31), released by CJ ENM on Tuesday. JTBC “The Good Detective 2” ranked 12th.
The drama which its rank increased the most compared to the previous week was “Big Mouse,” starring Lee Jong-suk and Im Yoon-ah, taking third place. The CPI index is 219.
“Big Mouse” is a criminal drama like “Adamas” and “Good Detective 2,” but it is evaluated that it had popular appeal by adding romance between Park Chang-ho (Lee Jong-suk) and Go Mi-ho (Lim Yoon-ah), who have been couples since school days.
It also enhanced viewers’ immersion by depicting a current story of Park Chang-ho, a living lawyer, who is accidently caught up in a murder case and turns into a rare genius con artist overnight.
