SEOUL April 22 (Yonhap) -- K-pop girl group Le Sserafim took the stage at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California on the 20th.
Le Sserafim kicked off their performance with three consecutive songs, "ANTIFRAGILE," "FEARLESS," and "The Great Mermaid," set to a powerful band sound.
They also performed a special unreleased song titled "1-800-hot-n-fun," specially prepared for Coachella, which garnered enthusiastic responses from the audience despite being first unveiled on the 13th.
Following their opening, Le Sserafim continued their set with hits like "UNFORGIVEN," "Eve, Psyche, & the Bluebeard's Wife," "Perfect Night," "Smart," and "EASY."
Their agency, Source Music, stated, "Le Sserafim attracted around 30,000 spectators at their performance on the 13th," adding, "Once again, the venue was packed with fans enjoying their performance."
Expressing gratitude to the audience, Le Sserafim said, "We're thankful for creating precious memories. We're grateful to those who enjoyed our performance tonight," adding, "Through our first Coachella experience, we learned a lot and were moved to be able to share this stage with all of you. We'll cherish this memory forever."
During their Coachella performance, Le Sserafim focused more on vocals and reduced the intensity of choreography compared to their first performance, aiming to minimize mistakes.
Particularly noteworthy were the vocal performances of members Heo Yoonjin and Kim Chaewon, which sounded vivid and vibrant, possibly in response to some criticism of the completeness of their first performance on the 13th.
However, due to the nature of online YouTube streaming, some pre-recorded vocals were also heard alongside the live performances of the members.
Following their Coachella stage, Le Sserafim is gearing up for a fan meeting titled "FEARNADA 2024 S/S," scheduled to be held next month at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul's Songpa-gu district.
