SEOUL, June 18 (Yonhap) -- Jimin of BTS is set to release his new album 'MUSE' on July 19th, as announced by his agency, Big Hit Music, on the 18th. This announcement was made via the fan community platform Weverse and BTS's official social media channels.
'MUSE' marks Jimin's first album release in approximately one year and four months since his debut solo album 'FACE' in March of last year.
Big Hit Music explained, "The new album contains stories of seeking the source of inspiration. It includes a total of seven tracks, including the fan song 'Closer Than This,' which was released last December."
The agency added, "This new album will showcase Jimin's expanded musical spectrum."
Jimin, who enlisted in the army last December to fulfill his mandatory military service, has pre-prepared various content to be released ahead of the album launch.
