Moreover, actress Kim Hyun addressed “I focused greatly in portraying the ambition and her greed.”

Up until the middle of the season, Lee Pil-ok was portrayed as a dedicated and wise mother figure, however when his husband Jin Yang-chul starts to consider Jin Do-jun, as his next in line, she even hire’s a hit man to eliminate Jin Do-jun.

Actress Kim Hyun stated “Lee Pil-ok thinks its right for her son to be the next leader of Soonyang,” adding “However in the end when she gets emotional support from Jin Yoon-ki acted by Kim Young-jae I cried very hard.”

Actor Jo Han-chul who acted alongside of actress Kim Hyun as the second son of Jin Yang-chul addressed that he focused on the second son’s past and how that relates to his ambition.

Jin Dong-ki who is set in between the eldest son and the youngest daughter learns how to read people’s feeling so that he can survive the situation wisely.

“Jin Dong-ki can not fit in to one side, instead what he does is he reads the current of the situation therefore he roles his eyes constantly,” adding “I wanted to showcase Jin Dong-ki as someone who cannot stand straight and that typical facial expression when someone is checking out whether you are angry or not.”

Jo Han-chul address that the fact that Jin Dong-ki firmly believes in Shoal is because of the uncertainty he feels as a second son.

“Jin Dong-ki is smart, however he is very unsure of everything, he has low self esteem and he feels insecure all the time. Therefore he looks out for something that will make him feel comfortable, that is why he believes in shoal.” addressed Jo Han-chul.

Throughout the series Jo Han-chul tries to be a better figure than his older brother Jin Young-ki acted by Yoon Je-moon to be selected as next in line of his father Jin Yang-chul, things do not go as he planned and the character gets more paranoid. Throughout the series actor Jo Han-chul successfully manages to showcase Jin Dong-ki as someone very relatable.

Especially through the scene where Jin Dong-ki cries out all his frustration under an influence of alcohol after getting stripped away of his power to Jin Do-jun, showcased actors solid foundation that he build through 24 years of his experience on stage and at the scene.

Jo Han-chul addressed “Originally that scene is depicted as a scene where he calls out his dad calmly to address something, however at the scene, we have made changes to look as if Jin Dong-ki is at his final moments and there’s nothing holding him back.”

Moreover, the actor stated “A lot of people gave positive feedback to my drunk acting, and I personally love the scene. Although the drama was loved by so many people and it became one of my representing series as an actor, however the effort and time I have put into the production is same as every other production I participate in.”

Character Lee Hang-jae acted by Jung Hee-tae a right handed man of Jin Yang-chul also showcased very detailed action throughout the series.

“As an actor who acted out the secretary I did not expect so many people to talk about the series and my acting afterwards,” adding “I think its all because I was next to such charismatic figure Jin Yang-chul and the actor Lee Sung-min.” addressed Jung Hee-tae.

Towards the end, Lee Hang-jae stabs Jin Do-jun in the back providing shocking plot twist to its viewers however actor Jung Hee-tae addressed that “Jee Hang-jae’s action can be interpreted into two different meanings,” adding “The reason for betrayal can be seen as his action to get more shares, however Jin Yang-chul might be behind his actions,” continuing on actor addressed “ It could be Jin Yang-chul’s big picture to his grandson that after overcoming such difficulty he might actually mature and become a better leader.”

South Korean actor Jung Hee-tae who worked closely to actor Lee Sung-min recollected his memory working on the set, and address that he was very impressed by the acting of Lee Sung-min.
