'2 Days & 1 Night' viewers' petition for Kim Seon-ho's return receives KBS's negative response

SEOUL, Nov. 9 (Yonhap) -- KBS has confirmed that they cannot change their decision of getting actor Kim Seon-ho off their variety show, “2 Days & 1 Night,” despite the viewers’ petition demanding of his return.

“Before announcing Kim’s dropping off the program, we had a prior consultation with the actor,” said the broadcaster on the 8th.

“We, producers feel sad as well as we cannot show the 6 members’ harmony anymore,” said the broadcaster.

Earlier, Kim has been speculated of having coerced his ex-girlfriend into getting an abortion and dropped out of several productions including KBS 2TV’s popular variety show, “2 Days & 1 Night.”

Some viewers submitted a petition to KBS opposing to Kim’s getting off the show which received over a thousand agreements.
