As many of us hold on until those COVID-19 vaccines come to the rescue, global media have noted South Korea’s moving relatively slowly on the vaccine front compared to the U.S., UK, and Israel. That said, Seoul’s had the luxury of being able to watch and learn because of the comparatively low number of infections here. The UK, for instance, has around 15 million more citizens than South Korea’s nearly 52 million, but it has seen nearly four million infections compared with less than 80,000 here. So, let’s look at the when, who, and how of Seoul’s COVID-19 vaccine plan!
