It’s been an intriguing 2020 on the North Korea front. With the mysterious workings of the Kim dynasty drawing global attention, the North shut itself off from the outside world and outdid its own ‘Hermit Kingdom’ reputation. You’d think this would have been one of the country’s worst ever years due to COVID-19, major economic challenges, and even the reported death of leader Kim Jong-un. But then, North Korea’s weapon capabilities look more powerful than ever and Pyongyang’s planning a huge political event in January.
