National Assembly approves special counsel for presidential probe

The National Assembly in Seoul passes a bill on Dec. 10, 2024, to introduce a permanent special counsel for investigating treason charges against President Yoon Suk Yeol. The bill was approved in a 210-63 vote, with 14 abstentions. (Yonhap)
