Hanwha Ocean wins order for new frigates

This rendering, provided by Hanwha Ocean Co., shows the Ulsan-class Batch-IV. The shipbuilder said on Dec. 19, 2024, it has concluded a main contract with the state-run Defense Acquisition Program Administration on the construction of the Ulsan-class Batch IV Nos. 1 and 2 worth 839.1 billion won (US$578.60 million).
