On-site probe of Jeju Air crash
An official from a U.S. investigation group takes measurements of a localizer at the site of a Jeju Air passenger plane crash at Muan International Airport, southwestern South Korea, on Jan. 2, 2025. The localizer, a navigation system that assists in aircraft landings, has been blamed for exacerbating the severity of casualties in the crash four days ago that killed all but two of the 181 people onboard.
