Hyundai Steel 2022 net income down 31 pct to 1.03 tln won

SEOUL, Jan. 31 (Yonhap) -- Hyundai Steel Co. on Tuesday reported its 2022 net profit of 1.03 trillion won (US$843.3 million), down 31 percent from a year earlier.

Operating income for the year was 1.61 trillion won, down 33.9 percent on-year, the company said in a regulatory filing. Annual sales rose 19.7 percent to 27.34 trillion won.
