SEOUL, May 11 (Yonhap) -- Kim Chang-yeol, a member of the hip hop trio DJ DOC, resigned as the CEO of Sidus HQ, an entertainment division of the general entertainment company, IHQ, within three months.

"Kim Chang-yeol, the head of Sidus HQ Entertainment, voluntarily expressed his intention to resign the position of CEO for personal reasons," IHQ stated.

Sidus HQ, a management company where Kim Chang-yeol was appointed as CEO in March, manages various celebrities, including Jang Hyuk, Kim Ha-neul, Um Ki-joon, Oh Yeon-seo, group god's Park Joon-hyung, EXID's Hyerin, and comedians Lee Bong-won, Hwang Je-sung, and Park So-hyun.

Last month, Lee Hyun-bae, a singer from musical group, 45RPM and younger brother of DJ DOC's Lee Ha-neul, died. Later, as Lee Ha-neul revealed that his brother and Kim Chang-yeol had a conflict over money, Kim has been cornered.
