LOS ANGELES, May 25 (Yonhap) -- Marvel Studios has released the official teaser trailer for its new hero movie "Eternals," which is scheduled for release in theaters in November.

The film depicts the story of an immortal alien race called the "Eternals," which fight against the evil "Deviants." One of the many heroes that possess different powers and abilities in the movie, is played by Korean-American actor Ma Dong-seok (Don Lee).

Marvel wrote on Twitter on the 24th (KST), saying, "Watch the brand-new teaser trailer for Marvel Studios' Eternals and experience it in theaters this November," according to American film media, Variety.

The two-minute trailer begins with the scene of the "Eternals" race appearing in front of a tribe of early humans who arrived in a large spaceship thousands of years ago, while the pop song "The End of the World" plays in the background.

The Eternals are described as an alien race, who have secretly lived on Earth for thousands of years.

In the trailer, Hollywood star Selma Hayek who plays Ajak, the leader of Eternals, says the line "We have watched and guided. We have helped them progress and seen them accomplish wonders. Throughout the years, we have never interfered."

Ma Dong-seok, who plays the role of the invincible hero "Gilgamesh" with superhuman power, appeared proudly next to actress Angelina Jolie, who plays the female warrior "Thena."

Ma Dong-seok appeared in the last scene of the trailer wearing a white shirt and overalls while showing a big smile next to his fellow 'Eternals' members.

The trailer also did a good job melting in Marvel's unique sense of humor, according to People magazine.

The trailer ends with a scene where the Eternals members discuss who would lead The Avengers after the absence of Iron Man, and actor Richard Madden who plays Ikaris jokingly says, "I can lead."

"Eternals" was directed by Chloe Zhao, a Chinese-born female film director who won the Academy Award for Best Picture and Best Director this year, and will be released on November 5th.
