Boy band SHINee to return with new Japanese EP 'SUPERSTAR'

SEOUL, June 25 (Yonhap) -- K-pop boy band SHINee announced to release a new Japanese-language mini-album "SUPERSTAR" in Japan on June 28, according to the band's agency SM Entertainment.

The album includes new Japanese songs such as the title track "Superstar," "Closer," and "SEASONS." "Superstar" is expected to contain minimal and addictive dance beats that convey the message of living one's life to the fullest rather than comparing it to others.

In addition, a total of five songs will be listed in the album, including the Japanese version of "Don't Call Me," which was the title track for SHINee's seventh studio album, as well as "Atlantis," the title track of its seventh repackaged. .

The mini-album will be released on April 28.

Earlier in the year, SHINee released its seventh full-length album, "Don't Call Me," in February after two and a half years.
