Excavation of Korean War soldier's remains
This photo, provided by the defense ministry on Jan. 18, 2023, shows the remains of Oh Moon-kyo, a South Korean soldier killed in the 1950-53 Korean War, which were retrieved from Arrowhead Ridge, a former battle site inside the Demilitarized Zone in the central section of the inter-Korean border in Cheorwon, South Korea's northeastern province of Gangwon. South Korea has so far identified the remains of 204 service members killed in the three-year conflict since it launched the excavation project in 2000. (PHOTO NOT FOR SALE) (Yonhap)
