K-pop singer AleXa to release new single 'ReviveR'

SEOUL, July 1 (Yonhap) -- Korean-American pop singer AleXa, will release her new single "ReviveR" on July 1, according to her agency, ZB Label.

This album will include the same artificial intelligence (AI) concept AleXa has showcased since her debut, where she portrays the end of human AleXa and the start of robot AleXa.

ZB Label explained the album was titled "ReviveR" since it spells out the same word when it is read in reverse, which connects with the unknown beginning and the end to the AI theme included in AleXa's album.

The title track "XTRA," composed and arranged by foreign producers and the lyrics were written by producer Hwang Sung-jin from RBW.

In addition, the album included "Obsession," which Alexa had wrote and composed herself for the first time.

The singer appeared on Mnet's audition program "Produce 48" and debuted with her song "Bomb" in 2019. Last year, AleXa signed with the U.S. media agency ICM Partners and started her global activities.
